Platinum Gold Equity Limited (PGE) was created with the purpose of bringing together a team of professionals with the prescribed goal of developing both commercial and residential properties in Zambia. PGE is committed to developing appropriate retail centres, office space and residential projects throughout the country.
PGE’s initial development was the Falls Park Shopping Centre, a 4,200-m² lettable area shopping centre in Livingstone, the tourist capital of Zambia. The development also included an 80-room Protea Hotel. In addition to this, PGE entered into a long-term arrangement that facilitated the construction and operation of an Engen filling station within this development. The Falls Park Shopping Centre was sold in 2007 and the Protea was sold in 2008.
Kitwe Development Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of PGE and was set up as a Special Purpose Vehicle for the development of the Kitwe Shopping Mall.
